Entertaining Clients and Colleagues
Of course, sometimes you have to attend to social obligations to do with work as well. Thankfully, the Sathorn area is also home to hundreds of quality restaurants, bars and cafés as well that serve nicely as appropriate places to entertain clients and business colleagues. Cultivate business relationships with your clients over a sumptuous multi-course meal of traditional Thai cuisine, or treat them to one of the best steaks in the city. When the night is over, it’s just a short commute to your hotel room.Explore Bangkok from the Convenience of a Sathorn Hotel
A hotel in the Sathorn area of Bangkok is also convenient for those wanting to see all the sights the city has to offer. The Sathorn area of Bangkok is right along the Chao Phraya River, as are all the most famous historical landmarks of Bangkok. By taking the BTS Skytrain just a couple of stops, you can access the water taxis that cruise up and down the river past landmarks such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and the Temple of the Dawn. The water taxis sell a special one-day pass that allows tourists to hop on and off at piers along the river, where they will be in walking distance of these famous monuments of Bangkok. The BTS Skytrain and the MRT also provide quick, air-conditioned access to the shopping and entertainment areas of Sukhumvit Road. They both also have stations at Chatuchak Park, home of the world-famous Chatuchak Weekend Market. This market is where you can pick up a wide selection of handicrafts and souvenirs of Thailand to take back home. A hotel in the Sathorn area of Bangkok is a strategically convenient location for both business and pleasure travelers, and one you will insist upon the next time you visit the city.
