Not only will you enjoy all the attractions and experiences to be had up and down the length of Sukhumvit Road, but you’ll also be able to easily visit all the other sights in Bangkok as well.  The BTS Skytrain is the oldest and most popular rapid transit rail system in the city. It has two interconnected lines. One of the lines services the Silom and Sathorn districts of the city near the Chao Phraya River. The second line services the Sukhumvit Road area and the Victory Monument area. Both of the lines converge at the top of Sukhumvit Road right next to Siam Square.  The BTS Skytrain offers convenient and quick, air-conditioned transportation to residents of Bangkok who want to access the shopping and entertainment areas along Sukhumvit Road and the financial districts of Silom and Sathorn. 

Access to All Bangkok Rapid Transit Lines

It also provides tourists with easy access to the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market and park. The Airport Express transit line offers a quick and easy option for visitors and residents who arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The line runs from the airport to near Victory Monument and is interconnected to both the BTS Skytrain and the MRT. 

Touring Bangkok by Rail
